Note from Kevin:
When I think back over my life and the many trials I have experienced, it may surprise you what has helped to see me through at different times. Obviously family and friends made a great source of strength as was my faith. Yet sometimes it was much simpler than that. On many occasions I found that my strength to see it through to another day came from wearing the ring my mother gave me around my neck or from a lucky stone given to me by a friend.
I've been asked so many times, "Why don't you make a wrist band (much like the many you see people wearing today) of your own?" Though I liked the idea behind them, it just wasn't me.
So now I've found something that is true to who I am. I have made dog tags that simply have the word "HOPE," "LOVE," or "SURVIVOR" on one side with my own definition on the other side.
